Daft Notices

I've decided daft notices need a daft man to start a daft blog on this subject.

I saw two in one day this week. This one is in Brentford a few yards from my home. There is a dedicated Right turn lane on the main carriageway just after the cut through through the park ends. Do they really think cyclists will get off the cycle lane, proceed on the quite narrow pavement which all of a sudden is dual use, and turn right from the ledt hand pavement? Perhaps one confused newcomer once a year.

But that is sensible compared with this ine at Fulham Broadway station.

Yea I know it is a crap picture, but by what magic system how does a lift that holds over 5 every other day suddenly lose capacity and fail when footer fans are in town? It also has my bete noir - 'sorry for any inconvenience caused: If it didn't create any inconvenience why bother with a notice at all?

Any other daft notices will be welcomed via comments or email me eguylambert@gmail.com
